Luscious Orange Fig Nice Cream with Balsamic Glaze

Craving something cool and sweet? This rich, creamy, and decadent vegan treat is just as delicious as ice cream, without the added fats and sugars. It's a guilt-free pleasure! By simply blending fruits, juices, and non-dairy milk, you get a delicious healthy dessert.


Ingredients

8-12 figs - sliced or quartered depending on size

2 oranges - 1 juiced, the other peeled and chopped

1/4 cup of almond milk (If using a high speed blender)

balsamic glaze

non-dairy whip cream topping (optional)


Directions

Step 1: Wash and cut figs and oranges. Arrange in ice cube trays and top with juice of one of the oranges. Freeze at least 4 hours or overnight..

Step 2: After fruit is fully frozen, allow to defrost for about 10 minutes. Put cubes in a high-powered blender or Yonanas machine. If using a blender, add 1/4 cup almond milk to help it blend.

Step 3: Serve immediately topped with balsamic graze or freeze for a thicker consistency.
